Last week, Tropical Bank Limited’s executive leadership team paid a courtesy visit to the MTN MoMo offices as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration within Uganda’s digital financial ecosystem. The delegation was led by the Managing Director, Mr. Abdulaziz Mansur, accompanied by the Executive Director, Hajjat Joweria Mukalazi.

The team was received by Mr. Richard Yego, Chief Executive Officer of MTN MoMo, together with senior members of the MTN leadership group, including Mr. Stephen Mutana (Chief of Strategy and Stakeholders), Mr. Keith G. Tukei (Chief Commercial Officer), Mr. Joseph Bogera (General Manager Sales & Distribution), among others.

The engagement provided an important platform for both institutions to reflect on the progress of the existing partnership and to discuss new opportunities for strengthening cooperation. Discussions centred on expanding financial inclusion, accelerating digital innovation, and jointly improving the quality, accessibility, and reliability of digital financial services available to customers across Uganda.

Tropical Bank reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that broaden access to convenient and secure financial solutions, in line with our strategic objective of driving digital transformation in the banking sector. The meeting also underscored the shared vision between Tropical Bank and MTN MoMo to empower individuals, businesses, and communities through enhanced digital connectivity and financial empowerment.
