At Tropical Bank Limited, we believe that education is a powerful tool for transformation—and every girl deserves a chance to learn, grow and lead. That’s why we were honored to partner with the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) Female’s Campus Kabojja for the Fourth Edition of the IUIU Run for the Girl Child.

Under the theme “We Run, She Learns,” this annual event is more than just a marathon—it is a movement. Prepared by Dr. Madinah Nabukeera, Director of the IUIU Female’s Campus, the initiative raised funds that have so far enabled more than 230 girls to stay in school and continue their education.

The event was graced by Prof. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda, Campus Rector of IUIU, who applauded Tropical Bank for our unwavering commitment to advancing girl child education. We are proud to be part of this impactful cause and to stand alongside institutions that are breaking down barriers to education for young girls.
