Munialo Robert is a risk management professional with over 10 years of experience in banking, specializing in enterprise risk, ICT risk, business continuity, and regulatory compliance. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Makerere University and serves as Acting Head of Risk at Tropical Bank Limited since February 2026, overseeing the bank’s risk framework, operational risk, and enterprise reporting. He is also the bank’s Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
He holds several professional certifications, including ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, ISO 20000-1 Lead Implementer, and Certified Disaster Recovery Manager, and is currently pursuing the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification with ISACA. He previously worked with Equity Bank Uganda Limited as an ICT Risk Analyst, among other roles.
